Services that usually run between Southport / Wigan Wallgate to Chester / Hazel Grove will divert, and not run via Bolton.
Preston to Manchester Airport services will divert, and not call at stations between Clifton and Buckshaw Parkway.

Services between Clitheroe and Manchester Victoria via Bolton will not run. Instead, Manchester Victoria to Blackburn via Rochdale services will be extended to terminate / start from Clitheroe. [488]
